Our school building project is really beginning to take shape – today we had a delivery of four of the five new buildings that will make up the hall and classroom block.  It’s amazing to see them so expertly craned into place over the surrounding trees, houses and even over our own site.  The arrival of the buildings means that there is even more of a squash and squeeze on the school with absolutely no spare play or learning space at all beyond our 3 existing and one temporary classrooms.  Lessons, clubs, lunches and meetings currently take place in any available nook or cranny including the entrance hall, the toilet corridor and even in a classroom cupboard!  Staff are being very inventive and everyone is thankfully, very patient.  Goodness only knows where we would put an Ofsted team if they arrived on site!!  The shed in the pond area is the only space free now . . . bring your own chairs!
